What are our values, and what's it like to work with us?

We are a small, family-owned company whose sole purpose is to change your life through the power of movies and music.  Chicago didn't need another "custom installer" or "stereo store".  There are loads of them, and most have been around longer than we have.  But our passion isn't born from technology or "gear-envy".  We believe movies and music are art forms you bring into your home, and as such, should as faithfully as possible reproduce the original intention of the artists who create them.  We just happen to have to use high technology to accomplish that goal.

We maintain a showroom for demonstration, even though we tailor systems to individual homes.  We want you to experience what's possible, even if it's not quite the right time to go "whole hog".  We edit our systems to know what works together, and we believe in long-term value, versus changing things every year just because there's a "newer model".  The brands we sell tend to keep the same components in their line for years, because they get them right in the beginning.

We're purposefully not "bleeding edge".   While we stay current with industry trends and new products and technology, we don't believe in "beta-testing" in our customers' homes.  We still run wires for control, (even though wireless will eventually come), we still believe in DVDs, CDs (and even LPs) as viable mediums for communicating performances, even though there are always "new breakthroughs" that are seemingly always "just over the horizon".  We put in systems that work, and we don't sell anything we don't actually have ourselves in our own homes.  (You're welcome to come try out my home systems; they're amazing to listen to, but my wife and kids can operate them with ease.)
