WHAT IS HOME THEATER

Recreating, sound for sound, scene for scene, what the director spent months putting in exactly those places.

This is incredibly difficult to do well.  If it were easy, commercial movie houses wouldn't cost so much to build.  You are putting a movie house inside your house, yet you want to be just as engaged as you are when in a "real" movie theater.  You want to laugh, cry, be held in suspense, just like at the movieplex.  It's akin to asking your container garden to recreate what you felt the last time you were in Central Park.

This is not a "do-it-yourself" project.  Especially if your "movie palace" is a multi-purpose family room, where the system has to captivate when in use, and not intrude when it's off.  Your job should be to approve the important things, like how it looks, whether it feels comfortable, and how much it costs.  Let us take care of assembling and installing the best system for your specific needs.  After all, your gardener needs you to pick out some new water features.
